2022-23 BUS TRIPS HAVE BEEN CANCELED....
CANCELLED!
We are sorry to say that after multiple meeting discussions and very careful considerations to all those who've inquired. That we have tabled all discussion moving forward in the regular season 2022-2023 on any potential bus trips.
We kicked about several senecios for potential trips during the 2022-2023 season. One such would have been a trip that would have included a Ft Wayne Nailers game and an outdoor arena game in Cleveland in which our Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins would have played the Cleveland Monsters. We also reviewed other areas suggested by both membership and past participants of bus trips as well, but after careful consideration of pricing, bus availability, that we secured from multiple transport companies we are sad to say that we could not come up with a valid affordable solution.
So you additionally know, we've tabled this agenda, but; we still could reopen discussions pending post season play trips. These discussions could be reopened if our boys do actually make a valid 2022-2023 run toward the cup and should we have substantial demand from fans and membership. Given this, if you or someone you know would be interested in such a trip, please do not hesitate to let us know, via our online "Meeting Agenda form". Knowing a head count in advance will make our decision and discussions with the transport companies so much easier to negotiate. Again we sincerely apologize for getting your hopes up, So Please keep the faith and cheer loudly to help our guys obtain a playoff position.
BUS TRIP TO FT. WAYNE, IN. OCT 23rd, 2021

What a game….our team looked very strong. We even got to see how they would fair against football tackles, rugby scrums, street fighting & wrestling moves….and they held their own. They could read each other well. A few things to work out but no doubt they have that potential needed to bring in the wins. Cannot wait to see them on home ice where there is not cross ice line changes. We wish them luck on their Iowa adventures next week. We will be listening and watching.
Ft. Wayne Opening Night Bus Trip Itinerary
Bus trippers….finalized the tickets with Fort Wayne. Bus is confirmed.
I was told that the arena does require masks unless you are eating or have a drink in your hand. Here is the itinerary for Saturday….
11 am leave from arena
12 pm pick up at Cambridge stop
4 pm arrive in Fort Wayne
4-6 dinner and drinks with some FW friends/fans
6:30-10ish game section 219 seats are in rows 7, 8 & 9
10:30 ish load up leave FW
2 am ish drop off Cambridge stop
3 am ish arrive in wheeling.
(All the “ish” breaks out once the game starts. )
Remember to be responsible and respectful. They will be raising the Kelly Cup flag and having a ring ceremony prior to the game starting. I’m pretty excited to see it myself. Hell, I’m just excited to watch a game!
Please try to avoid bringing glass containers on the bus. I am trying to have our usual door prizes …still working on that. We will pass the hat for our drivers. (There will be two) I am doubting that I will have a jersey raffle this trip but that remains to be seen.
Saturday is our official start to the 21-22 season! I’m so glad I’m going to be there to see it! Let’s go Nailers!!

HOCKEY FAMILY REUNION

The Wheeling Nailers Booster Club would like to invite all our hockey friends, family, & fans to a mid-summer get together. The Booster club will be grilling hamburgers & hotdogs. We will also provide plates, napkins, & plastic ware.
We ask you to bring a side dish or dessert to share. You will also need to bring your own drinks.
In order for us to plan accordingly & make this a success, please RSVP by July 8th with the number attending. You can rsvp to wheelingnailersboosterclub@hotmail.com or by calling or texting (740)359-1620.
We will have sign ups & information for new members, summer events, and the first bus trip of the 21-22 season! We are also working on having a special guest present!!
We will hold an abbreviated meeting of the booster club at 7:30pm.

BUS TRIP, APRIL 4th, & 5th, 2020 - STATEMENT FROM PRESIDENT
ECHL Cancels Remainder of 2019-20 Season
It has been decided that we will issue full refunds to anyone who has paid on the bus trip, no matter what the outcome of the refunds the club is requesting and negotiating. We feel this is the right thing to do.
Please be patient as we work to get the refunds issued. You may Facebook message me, or text me 740-359-1620 to give details on how you would like to be refunded.
Please keep in mind that it will take a little time to coordinate everyone to get the refunds out. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
